AgSafe BC is a leading nonprofit organization in British Columbia dedicated to promoting health and safety throughout the agriculture sector by offering on-site consultations, online courses, resources, and certification programs. Lingel Learning partnered with AgSafe BC to develop a tailored Learning Management System and interactive training modules, delivering practical tools, strategies, and knowledge to industry stakeholders to mitigate risks, ensure regulatory adherence, and strengthen resilience across BC’s agricultural community.

About
the Project

AgSafe (formerly FARSHA) is the designated safety association for agricultural employers in British Columbia, Canada. Its mandate is to develop and deliver comprehensive health and safety services that support BC’s agricultural community.

AgSafe engaged Lingel Learning to transform a traditional paper-based training program into an engaging, interactive eLearning experience. The new module needed to include rich media elements, such as voiceover, imagery, video, and animation, to maintain learner engagement and improve knowledge retention. In addition, a user-friendly Learning Management System (LMS) was required to manage student access and securely store training results.

The Result

The completed solution provided a blended learning experience, allowing participants to complete the eLearning module before attending an in-person workshop. Lingel Learning implemented a custom-branded Moodle LMS portal to host and track learner progress. The course incorporated audio, animation, and interactive components to present information clearly, reinforce understanding, and assess comprehension through formal evaluations
